The Who and Why
Lakewood Marine was started to provide professional, personal, local service to those desiring to find a quality used boat or update the wiring and electronics to play a small part in helping create lifetime memories with family and friends.
After buying and selling used fishing boats for a few years and, in doing so, doing some rigging and flooring, Brian began Lakewood Marine. He has achieved his NMEA Marine Electronics Installer (MEI) and Garmin Authorized Marine Installer certifications. At present, he is the only NMEA MEI certification holder in Iowa (and within 100 miles of Sioux Falls), and the only holder of both the NMEA MEI and Garmin Authorized Marine Installer certifications in Iowa and within hundreds of miles of Sioux Falls.
If you're looking for your used boat, desiring to sell your current boat, want custom MarineMat decking, need your wiring cleaned up, want your electronics updated and installed, or want to replace your bunk carpet with Gatorbak, reach out and see if we can help you accomplish your goal.
